SCIENCE ADVISORY COMMITTEE

The Science Advisory Committee, or SAC, is an external group of scientists who act in an advisory capacity to the DSA-2000 project team. The goal of the SAC is to support the project by ensuring that the DSA-2000 telescope serves the needs of the broader astronomy community and that its specifications will enable it to achieve the highest impact science possible. The research interests of the SAC members span a diverse range of DSA-2000 science applications, including pulsars, fast radio bursts, transients, gravitational-wave counterparts, the interstellar medium, and radio emission from our Galaxy to distant galaxies.
